What I am watching

I’ve discovered a fabulous new series, The Durrells in Corfu.  This British comedy/drama is a delightful Masterpiece Theater piece based on the Corfu trilogy by Gerald Durrell. This show is adapted from his autobiographical books about his family’s four years spent on the Greek island of Corfu in the late 1930’s.

The cinematography is rich, the characters just quirky enough, and the acting spectacular. It makes you believe anyone can pick up anywhere, anytime and make a life in Greece.

Well written. A definite 5 stars!
